THE ANNUAL

VIDALIA VITTLES & FIDDLES FESTIVAL

The Vittles & Fiddles festival is an annual festival held in April established

in 2004 to raise funds for the Vidalia Fire Department to build a training

facility to be used by local municipal and volunteer fire departments

along with the local law enforcement agencies.  The training

facility will be used for rope rescue training, confine space rescue training,

trench rescue training, and hazardous materials training.

The training facility will also house a live burn building for fire training

in a controlled and safe environment.  And it will also house a drill

tower for high angle rescue training, and a pump testing station for annual

pump testing of fire service apparatus's.
