The Vidalia Fire Department strives on safety,
professionalism, and its service to the City of Vidalia and its residents.
The department also provides mutual aid to the Concordia Parish Volunteer Fire
Department when called upon. Our department consists of an EMS unit,
Hazardous Materials Response Team for all of Concordia Parish, a fire
suppression team, a rescue unit, and we have recently added to our department
a team for rope rescue, confine space rescue, and trench rescue. We are very
proud of our department and its accomplishments in keeping up with the needs
of the City of Vidalia and its surrounding areas. The City of Vidalia is
fortunate to have a Fire Department that holds a current P.I.A.L.
(Property Insurance Association of Louisiana) rating of a 3. To learn more about our
